| | VISTA installation on new HDD Hi, I have a gateway barebone with P4 @2.8 motherboard and will get a HDD and some ram. I already have a dell computer with windows Vista on it, and extra vista dvd that says (for installation only with new Dell PC). If I install it on the GATEWAY computer with the new HDD will I have any problems? Thank you for your advice |

| | Re: VISTA installation on new HDD Unfortunately that is an OEM version and the license cannot be moved to a different computer. Being from Dell, it's probably BIOS locked, which means that you will not be able to activate on the Gateway system. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Desktop Experience "nj" <nabiljbour@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:33cf97cf-f904-4193-b147-96976a43672e@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi, > I have a gateway barebone with P4 @2.8 motherboard and will get a HDD > and some ram.
