| Guest | Error: The data area passed to a system call is too small. Hi, When I am trying to create a logman counter on windows vista it throws the following error "The data area passed to a system call is too small." Although the same command works fine when executed on windows xp. what could be the reason for it ?? (If I remove some objetcs to be monitored, it runs to a success) The command is: logman create counter monitoring --v -c "\Memory\Pages/sec" "\Memory\Page Faults/sec" "\Memory\Demand Zero Faults/sec" "\Memory\Pages Input/sec" "\Memory\Page Reads/sec" "\Memory\Transition Faults/sec" "\Memory\Pool Paged Bytes" "\Memory\Pool Nonpaged Bytes" "\Network Interface(Intel[R] 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Bytes total/sec" "\Network Interface(Intel[R] 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Packets/sec" "\Network Interface(Intel[R] 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Bytes Sent/sec" "\Network Interface(Intel[R] 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Bytes Received/sec" "\Network Interface(Intel[R] 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Packets Sent/sec" "\Network Interface(Intel[R] 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Packets Received/sec" "\Network Interface(Intel[R] 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Current Bandwidth" "\Network Interface(Intel[R] 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Output Queue Length" "\Network Interface(Intel[R] 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Packets Received Errors" "\Network Interface(Intel[R] 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection)\Packets Received Discarded" "\Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time" "\Processor(_Total)\% Privileged Time" "\Processor(_Total)\% User Time" "\Processor(_Total)\% Interrupt Time" "\Processor(_Total)\% Idle Time" "\Processor(_Total)\% DPC Time" "\Processor(_Total)\Interrupts/sec" "\Processor(_Total)\C1 Transitions/Sec" "\Processor(_Total)\C2 Transitions/Sec" "\Processor(_Total)\C3 Transitions/Sec" "\Processor(0)\% Processor Time" "\Processor(0)\% Privileged Time" "\Processor(0)\% User Time" "\Processor(0)\% Interrupt Time" "\Processor(0)\% Idle Time" "\Processor(0)\% DPC Time" "\Processor(0)\Interrupts/sec" "\Processor(0)\C1 Transitions/Sec" "\Processor(0)\C2 Transitions/Sec" "\Processor(0)\C3 Transitions/Sec" "\Processor(1)\% Processor Time" "\Processor(1)\% Privileged Time" "\Processor(1)\% User Time" "\Processor(1)\% Interrupt Time" "\Processor(1)\% Idle Time" "\Processor(1)\% DPC Time" "\Processor(1)\Interrupts/sec" "\Processor(1)\C1 Transitions/Sec" "\Processor(1)\C2 Transitions/Sec" "\Processor(1)\C3 Transitions/Sec" "\Process(iexplore)\% Processor Time" "\Process(iexplore)\% Privileged Time" "\Process(iexplore)\IO Data Bytes/sec" "\Process(iexplore)\IO Read Bytes/sec" "\Process(iexplore)\IO Write Bytes/sec" "\Process(iexplore)\Page File Bytes" "\Process(iexplore)\Page File Bytes Peak" "\Process( NRPE_NT)\% Processor Time" "\Process( NRPE_NT)\% Privileged Time" "\Process( NRPE_NT)\IO Data Bytes/sec" "\Process( NRPE_NT)\IO Read Bytes/sec" "\Process( NRPE_NT)\IO Write Bytes/sec" "\Process( NRPE_NT)\Page File Bytes" "\Process( NRPE_NT)\Page File Bytes Peak" "\Process(Rtvscan)\% Processor Time" "\Process(Rtvscan)\% Privileged Time" "\Process(Rtvscan)\IO Data Bytes/sec" "\Process(Rtvscan)\IO Read Bytes/sec" "\Process(Rtvscan)\IO Write Bytes/sec" "\Process(Rtvscan)\Page File Bytes" "\Process(Rtvscan)\Page File Bytes Peak" -f csv -o "C:\MonitoringProbes\archive\01HW155050.csv" |
