Folder options

How do I set the folder options to open all folders to display the view of
details. The option to do this under folder options is greyed out. Many thanks

Re: Folder options

Open a folder of the 'type' you want to have the details view, in Explorer.
From there, set the View menu to details, then go to tools menu, Options,
View tab, and set that type to all use that setting. There is a button to
click. (This is not an option from the Control Panel path to Folder Options)
You could have 'Large Icons' for pics folders, and 'Details' for regular
data, and so on.
