Vista Tutorial - 5536 and nvidia graphics driver

has any one been able to get the beta 2 driver to install on 5536..

it keeps crashing my system..

i forgot to mention it worked fine up untill now.

Nope.

Does not work at all with my GeForce 6200 256 meg... leaves black screen
(no VGA connection detected by monitor).

The MS WDM driver seems to work.. but in crippled mode.. (i.e. no
transparency)...

Maybe Nvidia will have a new driver by RC1 time ???

You should leave the inbox driver alone. The nVidia beta drivers don't seem
to support 5536 yet.

During the Vista 5536 install a driver was automatically installed for my
GeForce 7600GS. It supports the Aero Glass UI. I haven't tried it for
gaming yet. I think it is quite a bit newer than the Beta 2 driver.

The Vista Beta 2 driver from the Nvidia website is probably not supported
for the 5536 pre-RC1 build.

I have the GeForce 6800 graphic set up - no problem with Vista installed
drivers - I see no need to update them right - JMO

I just use the ones that come with Vista, do these not work for you? They
work for my 7800GTX

Been unable to get beta 2 drivers to work with 5536. Use a GeForce 6600 and
works fine with the drivers loaded with 5536 all the bells and whisles. But
unable to get games to work, I. E., Doom 3 and games on Steam. Have to reboot
into XP to play games. Hope they update the drivers soon.

Unable to get beta 2 drivers to work with 5536. The one that loaded with 5536
works fine but unable to play games such as, Doom 3 or games on Steam. Use a
GeForce 6600 256MB. Hope new drivers from nvidia come soon.
