Desktop Links Lost

It appears that I have lost the links to some of my desktop shortcuts The
shortcut icon is still there but it has turned to a generic icon and does not
work anymore. It is mainly the microsoft office ones plus the dell support
center and a few others.

Re: Desktop Links Lost

When you rightclick the Office item in control panel/"Programs and
features", you will see a Repair option. The Dell stuff can be downloaded
from their site and reinstalled, too. (if you can't find it in your recovery
partition). This will replace the path error on those apps.

Re: Desktop Links Lost

Mark,
Thanks for the reply, but the individual office items (Word, Excel, Power
Point, etc.) do not appear in the "Programs and Features".
