| | Desktop Links Lost It appears that I have lost the links to some of my desktop shortcuts The shortcut icon is still there but it has turned to a generic icon and does not work anymore. It is mainly the microsoft office ones plus the dell support center and a few others. -- JimVan |

| | Re: Desktop Links Lost When you rightclick the Office item in control panel/"Programs and features", you will see a Repair option. The Dell stuff can be downloaded from their site and reinstalled, too. (if you can't find it in your recovery partition). This will replace the path error on those apps. -- Was this helpful?
