| | Power button in the Start menu When I click Start, I have a yellow power button which, when clicked, puts the computer in a low power mode - I have to click the arrow next to that button to get an option to actually Shut Down. How do I get the Shut Down option to appear first (i.e. how do I get the button to shut the computer down when clicked) and put the low power state in the menu of other options which are accessed when you click the arrow next to the power button? |

How do I get the Shut Down option to appear first (i.e. how do I get the button to shut the computer down when clicked) and put the low power state in the menu of other options which are accessed when you click the arrow next to the power button? Step 8 in this tutorial will show you how to set the power button in the Start menu to "Shutdown" the computer when clicked. Power Button To make sure that you have "Sleep" in the arrow menu, check that your Power Plan Options are set the same for "Sleep" in Step Two of this tutorial.
