Vista Tutorial - ultimate: permissions permissions permissions...

hi,

I'm on Ultimate.. sometimes I can't rename, move, remove, etc a file, I
get an alert that I need "permission" to perform this action... now I'm
the only person who uses my machine, who am I supposed to get permission
from????

is there a way to disable all these permissions-related alerts? for
someone who is the only person using their machine it's really not very
practical...

If you're sure you understand all the security implications of doing so, you
can turn off UAC.
In Control Panel | User Accounts - last item in the list "Turn User Account
Control on or off:.
