| | RE: Windows photo gallery does not work anymore Ok; I can't figure out how to get on here to ask a question. I'm signed in and all that. When I click- New, and it says: start a new thread, and I click-question; it makes a ding sound and the top post on the list flashes a little. And there it no place to write a new post. So, if someone can tell me on this post, I can ask my question. I'll check this one. Bruce UK: you have a question here. Maybe you wouldn't mind telling me how you did it. | | RE: Windows photo gallery does not work anymore Replying to my own post: Maybe that's what I'm suppossed to do. It said, My post has been listed or whatever. My real question is: How to copy and paste with Vista? I have never been able to copy and paste something like a web address because; I select the line I want to copy, Next- I click edit to click copy, If I click edit, or copy or anything else it deselects what I had selected. I had an online chat with tech support and they had me copy and paste something on word pad to see if it was working, and how they had me do it was to hit enter to copy it to the next line. That worked and they said ok it works. If I had to click where I wanted to go instead of hitting enter, I'm sure it would have deselected the thing I was trying to copy. I know it's very basic, but I seem to have forgot how to do it. "cpike" wrote: Quote: > Ok; I can't figure out how to get on here to ask a question. I'm signed in > and all that. | | RE: Windows photo gallery does not work anymore Sorry for screwing around; I finally figured out how to post a question the correct way. | | Re: Windows photo gallery does not work anymore Now that you have managed to post, in the future be sure to start a new thread for your question. If you wish to copy and paste the URL in the address bar use either F6 key | CTRL+C | CTRL+V or Right Click the URL | Copy | Paste. I suggest you use a newsreader like the one included in Windows Mail, instead of the crappy web interface. See the below links.
