Re: SP1 Causes Problems with Internet Connection

Hi,

I just uninstalled SP1 and everything appears to be back to normal, after
rebooting again.

I'm able to log in to the MSDN forums, CodePlex and my personal website
instantaneously, and once logged in I can access protected links without any
delay.

I'll keep SP1 uninstalled for the remainder of today just to be sure that
the problems don't return. I'll try installing SP1 again tomorrow morning
to see if it breaks my internet connection.

I am having the same issue. Uninstalling sp1 for now.

I did see this post by someone with the same problem and downloading
the new Vista driver fixed it for them.
http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/...4030&SiteID=17

I tried that but it still hasn't fixed it. I have no anti-virus, no
firewall, no defender, only essential services running with all visual
effects off. its a shame because the sp1 file system seemed to be a
lot faster for me

Re: SP1 Causes Problems with Internet Connection

I downloaded and installed the new driver from the Intel website
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Prod...?ProductID=879 and this
fixed the problem on my Thinkpad T42p with an Intel Pro/1000 MT Mobile Nic.
