Memory Diagnostics Tool(memtest.exe)does not run After Vista SP1

Hello everybody!

I tried to run the Windows Diagnostics Tool after Vista SP1, but when
windows try to restart and run the diagnostics test, they do not start
at all and they are asking me to insert and the boot from the recovery windows
cd, because they cannot find the memtest.exe file or the file is
destroyed(error:00xc0000225).

Is there any way that I can fix this problem?

I would appreciate anybody's help. Thank you very much!

You can download and make a Merory Test CD from the above link.

If you have to come back, cross post here.
That way, any replies are in all the Newsgroups that you cross posted to.

RE: Memory Diagnostics Tool(memtest.exe)does not run After Vista S

Hi Mick,
I have downloaded the file, but when I try to create a start-up floppy disc
(when I click create) a message is coming up that says: "Device write error",
and I cannot write the mtinst.exe file to the floppy disc.
I chose the floppy disc solution because creating a CD-ROM that I can boot
from, looked rather complicated(if you see the note after point 4, on the
second page).
I would appreciate your views.
Thanks a lot.
