| | make partition INactive I accidentally made a partition active in disk manager that shouldn't be active but there seems no way to change it back? Help anyone please? Thanks in advance. K |

| | RE: make partition INactive Hello, Open an elevated cmd prompt run diskpart In diskpart run> list volume In diskpart run>select partition (x) where (x) if the partition you accidently marked active Then in diskpart run> inactive Refresh your disk management screen (F5 to refresh the disk management screen) to ensure the correct partition was changed. Do this before any reboots.
