Vista - virus protection?

Symantec products never worked right in XP let alone Vista

I recommend AVG, and it seems to work with no issues in 5536

Try this - turn off the PC-Cillin Firewall and then do an update. Worked
for me just now.

I've been using AVG for a long time but was having a problem with the
resident shield in 5536. I tried uninstalling and re-installing but it
didn't help. I finally set it to run in compatibility mode to XP sp2 and it
is finally running the shield.
