| | Desktop Icons Is there a way to keep remote desktop from moving all of my desktop icons? My laptop with Vista has a much smaller resolution than my desktop PC with Vista. When I access my workstation from home, many of the icons are moved. Is there anything I can do to save the locations and restore them when I return? Any ideas would be appreciated. |

| | Re: Desktop Icons Why not lock them in place at your one at home? Eg, sort by name and have them always line up like that. Sounds to me, though, like your one at home and one at work have vastly different resolution which causes the problem. Lastly, you could set up an account at the web site secure.logmein.com and install remote control on your PC at home using it. You can do it free there if you want. Works well too.
