| Guest | Can't read Dvds burned under XP. I recently installed Vista for the first time and I can't seem to open a photo Dvd or Cd that was burned under Win XP Pro. Is this a common problem and is there a workaround? Thanks for any info. Gary |

| Guest | Re: Can't read Dvds burned under XP. Probably its the type of software that was used to burn the data in Windows XP. Have you tried installing that same program on Vista and try reading the DVD again? -- Best regards, Andre Da Costa http://adacosta.spaces.live.com "MEPFEFFER" <guest@xxxxxx-email.com> wrote in message news:a1dc308f9eb479636f652b7e00b2f53e@xxxxxx-gateway.com... It seems to me that it is unable to read the disc. for any documents or file folders. This is the same whether I put in a disc with Word and Excel documents or picture files saved on the old machine. |
