Vista Beta 1 Serial + Vista Beta 2

Alright, here's my scenerio:

I registered for Windows Vista Beta 1 and also received its serial key.
After installing the operating system, I found out that Vista Beta 1 cannot
run with my current hardware.

Now, I checked for the Vista Beta 2 requirements, my computer is OK.
However, I do not have the serial for Vista Beta 2 -- I can burrow Vista Beta
2 cd from my Friend.

So, is there ANY way I can use Windows Vista Beta 1 Serial with the Beta
2 OS?

OR

Can I get the Vista Beta 2 Serial since I did register for Vista Beta 1?

Thank You

Have you contacted Microsoft regarding this?.

Re: Vista Beta 1 Serial + Vista Beta 2

How did you get Beta 1? TechBeta? MSDN? Because if I recall correctly, there
was no public release of Beta 1. Thus, you should contact the appropriate
administration for a key...

Re: Vista Beta 1 Serial + Vista Beta 2

The beta 1 Product Key will not work with Beta 2. Beta 2 is history anyway.
RC1 has already released to the TechBeta testers and will be released to CPP
in a few days. Just sign up for RC1 at the first opportunity. There should
be some announcements on Microsoft.com next week. Until then, just sit
tight.

Re: Vista Beta 1 Serial + Vista Beta 2

Thank You everyone for your responses!

Intel Inside : Yes I did contact Microsoft, but they sent me here

Trevor C : I got Vista Beta 1 from MSDN. But my problem is it won't run on
my computer, and therefore, I was hoping to get Beta 2 and use it with my
Beta 1 serial.

Colin Barnhorst : How can I get the RC1? Do I have to sign up somewhere or
do I have to had the Beta 2 version to sign up?

Thanks Again!

Re: Vista Beta 1 Serial + Vista Beta 2

You should have an opportunity to enroll on Microsoft.com when they post a
new enrollment page. Just keep an eye on microsoft.com, keyword Vista. If
you have an MSDN subscription why didn't you get beta 2 there? RC1 will be
on MSDN shortly as well.
