| | Camera Autoplay doesn't work When I plug in a digital camera, I no longer see the autoplay dialog. This is not a driver issue because (a) autoplay doesn't work for any camera I connect, and (b) it was working fine a few days ago. The system does recognize the cameras because they're listed in Explorer and I have no problem getting pictures from them. When a camera is connected, the cursor changes briefly to a wait cursor, but then nothing else happens. Any ideas? TIA Chris |

I'm guessing that this is some kind of registry problem. |

| | Re: Camera Autoplay doesn't work I would try changing them, exiting the AutoPlay options, go back in and set them the way you want them. If there is a registry issue, that should fix it. You could also check event manager to see if there are any errors logged when you do this. Do your other AutoPlay options work OK? <dauouslo@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:ed03d04f-49ef-4ebf-a11e-77b2c376df18@xxxxxx Quote: > On Apr 26, 8:11 am, "Michael O" <momal...@xxxxxx> wrote: Quote: >> Start->Help search AutoPlay or check control panel AutoPlay options. >> >> <dauou...@xxxxxx> wrote in message >> >> news:a3e969fd-819c-4346-91e3-cc5201cca8ec@xxxxxx >> >> >> Quote: >> > When I plug in a digital camera, I no longer see the autoplay dialog. >> > This is not a driver issue because... > Sorry, I should have added that the camera Autoplay options are set > correctly in Control panel. | | Re: Camera Autoplay doesn't work I tried resetting the camera autoplay option, nothing changed. All other AutoPlay options work fine. Can't find anything unusual in the event log. Stumped.
