If you have some specific examples, I can likely can pass them along.

Generally there's not enough time to do "change for the sake of change" -
change is actually pretty expensive and time-consuming. As such most every
change is pretty well-researched. It might not agree with everyone and need
further tuning over time, but that's part of the importance of the exchange
of ideas and general information flow. =)

My communications with hardware manufacturers left me with the feeling that
they were just being bloody minded regarding the release of appropriate
drivers. It was so obviously going to be a problem for some.

Some of the MS marketing decisions were off base too. I can only assume that
some personnel were demoted. Others who were part of the development team
have left the company apparently.

I will be honest in that I wondered why there was so much hype. It is, after
all is said and done, only an operating system.

Maybe we all expect too much, always expect some miracle advancement which
has universal appeal.

secret CIA files, pictures of your gf in her bikini and your valuable
writings? haha

Anything good does not have to be advertised . People will find it.

I think the problem is you. Females have a special radar for finding the
good men$ If Bill Gates lived on the top of a mountain in a cave I can
assure you that some female would find him lol

So we should be asking: "How come these issues weren't found and
fixed in beta testing?"
