| | RC1 installs 5600 installed fine on Dell D620 and D820. Having same problem installing on Dell XPS Gen 2 as 5536: setup BSOD's right after supplying SATA controller driver with a STOP 7. 5472 still running fine on it, so I don't think anything's come loose inside or anything like that... puzzled. | | Re: RC1 installs I also got a BSOD when installing on my P4 with Intel Raid controller. Installing Vista, using Intel drivers from floppy, crashes the system BSOD. However I could upgrade in place the same system to 5536. Have installed previous Vista versions without issues from the ground up. Puzzled...
