| | Resetting default folder-view behavior A few weeks ago I must have inadvertently pressed some key combination, and now every folder I open is displaying as a photo/video folder, with no filenames dislplayed. This is happening even for folders containing no images or video. I've gone through and unchecked the "Hide File Names" on a number of folders, only to have the file names missing again when I reopen (some of) them at a later date. Clearly, whatever I accidentally did has affected nearly all of the folder views on my machine, because if I go into folders I haven't opened for over a month (which contain only text documents and sub-folders), even those are not displaying file names. How do I get the system-wide properties of folder display back to the way it was, where the default view of a folder's contents was the "Documents" or "All Items" display? I can see how to do it for sub-directories, but not system wide. Thank you. |
