Network Connectivity Issues

Hello All,

If you are having trouble accessing the internet please try these
suggestions.

1. Open an elevated command prompt and type "netsh int tcp set global
autotuninglevel=disabled" w/out quotes

If you have a Marvell Yukon Adapter please try this.

Press the WinKey+R and type "devmgmt.msc" without quotes.
Expand Network Adapters
Right Click the Marvell device and go to properties.
Click on the advanced tab.
Select IPv4 Checksum Offload and set the Value to Disabled.

BTW...I will be posting a Get Ready for RC1 post shortly

RE: Network Connectivity Issues

Sorry to be so ignorant Tom, but what's an 'elevated' command prompt. Its the
''elevated' that I haven't seen before. Colin

Re: Network Connectivity Issues

What he suggested is, click on the Start Orb and type "cmd". Then, when the
cmd icon appears in the list, "right-click" on it and choose "Run As
Administrator."

RE: Network Connectivity Issues

Tom -- I was having the same issue and checked my Marvell adapter settings
and IPv4 Checksum Offload was already disabled. I decided to turn off UDP
and TCP checksum offload (as they had been set to 'enabled') and it fixed my
problem. It would appear that any type of checksum offloading causes issues
with RC1...

Cheers,
Greg
