Vista - Indexing & Outlook 2007

Is there a problem with indexing of Outlook 2007 folders/items in Vista's
Indexing?

When I look at Indexing Options, Outlook is included in the indexing
locations but the Outlook items never seem to get indexed. When I search
for an email message in Outlook all I get are a handful of messages when I
know there are many hundreds which match the search criteria.

Indexing Status in Outlook always shows many thousands of items still to be
indexed!

I have tried unchecking everyting in Indexing Options, then rebuilding the
index to reset the index to zero items indexed, reselecting the locations
and building the index again - but makes no difference.

Any idea how I can get Oulook items to get indexed?
