    Full IIS with Vista Ulitimate?

Will Vista Ultimate provide a full fledged installation of IIS, or a
    crippled installation like XP Pro?

Don't know but you should count on it being crippled like XP. Despite having
"everything", the Ultimate edition is still for desktops, not for servers.
Remember that there's a Longhorn Server out there that had full-blown IIS7
as well as full-blown every other Windows service...

I believe it's crippled. IIS is really a explorer ultilized by server
environments. The reasoning for IIS to be on client-side environments, is to
make a connection to a domain.

    Huh? No.

IIS in client environments used to be called Personal Web Server. PWS
started out as a different beast from IIS. MS later replaced PWS with IIS
(crippled) because it proved to be an important development environment for
web development professionals. Call it a "free trial" for Windows Server.

The whole point of IIS to explorer dir's (with 'web' function) in domains.

I'm glad that you enjoy that tiny little feature but that's NOT the point of
IIS on XP. But have fun with your warez sharing.
