Vista does not recognize C drive when I try to back up

When I try to back up Quicken to my Documents in C, the computer says C drive
does not exist and several windows pop up saying that there was no copy made.
When I go to documents, the copy was actually made. It does the same thing
when I try to send something in my documents to an outside drive.
