| | Monitor 1 & 2 identify in reverse After I plugged my hp pavilion dv9000 into the base, it decided that the external monitor was 1, and the laptop monitor was 2. I've restarted and the problem persists. Anyone seen this before? What can I do? |

| | Re: Monitor 1 & 2 identify in reverse This is a laptop I presume.. Some laptops do not allow an external monitor to become monitor 1 This is built into the hardware and cannot changed from the driver... stupid.. I know Im not sure if this add on utility allows this though www.ultramon.com If you find that ultramon works somehow please let me know too... I have no idea why Vista does this. It never happens in XP. If it happens with laptops, it is much more of a serious problem. ss. |

| | Re: Monitor 1 & 2 identify in reverse Weird thing is, it's not a new laptop, or external. I've been using them in combination for almost a year with no problem. Wish I knew what could have triggered this. ![]() |
