| Guest | Network and Volume icons gone missing from System Tray Why? I can't get them back either by checking them in the Start Menu Properties as they are both grayed-out or by rebooting. I still have network & internet access and sound. | Newbie | Re: Network and Volume icons gone missing from System Tray Having similar trouble guys, Taskbar and Sart Menu Properties > Notification Area only allow me to select Clock, the other 3 options Volume, Network and Power are greyed out. As this is on my laptop and I use it out and about quite a bit, its bloody frustrating to say the least. Tried everything suggested so far and nada, getting real annoyed by this. Anybody any ideas? |

Welcome to Vista Forums. Since you tried the other methods above with no success, then it sound like this is more your problem described in this tutorial. Select to show all System icons. Notification Area - Hide All System Icons Hope this helps, Shawn |
