| | Lost Windows - Resetting Window Positions Hello, I recently downsized from three monitors and two video cards to two monitors and one video card. However, I have one program that keeps coming up on the third monitor even though there is no third monitor. Does anyone know how to get that program to load on the main monitor? You would think Microsoft would be smart enough to fix Vista so that it realized a monitor was now missing and open the programs on the default screen. I guess that was a little too much to ask for. Thanks for any help |

| | Re: Lost Windows - Resetting Window Positions Ok here is what you have to do... Right click on the taskbar button entry of the application that is offscreen and select move, then without doing anything, press the left or right arrow key on your keyboard, the application window will "stick" onto the mouse cursor and you can move it into view. tell me if this helps "Robert Barnett" <nospam@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:O3VvfAvrIHA.4848@xxxxxx Quote: > Hello, > > I recently downsized from three monitors and two video cards to two > monitors and one video card. | | Re: Lost Windows - Resetting Window Positions Well, I would never have thought of that. However, when I right click on the task bar for it there is no move option. I have Minimize and Close with Restore being grayed out. Nothing more. |

If you are still having problems with this, you could always use UltraMon, which gives you the option for a program to open on a particular monitor. Go into the program's shortcut properties, after installing it. www.ultramon.com ss. |
