error when trying to copy hard drive

hi i have windows vista and i have filled my 40gb hard drive so i bought a
new 100gb hd, i tried to copy everything from the 40 to the 100 using norton
ghost, i formatted the 100gb and cloned using all the coreect options,
however when i then put the 100 gb in the laptop it says preparing your
desktop for the first time and then an error message appears that says
something like

rundll32.exe insufficient access or somethinmg like that

does anybody have any suggestions to help me succesfully copy and use the
new hard drive

Re: error when trying to copy hard drive

You want to clone the old drive to the new?
Generally you would install both, boot from the old drive and run the
cloning software from within Vista.
Then power down, change the jumpers on the drives to make the new drive
primary and recboot.
