| | KB 937385 Remote Assistance I am receiving all of the symptoms described in hot fix 937385 so I requested it from MS. When offering remote assistance (setup in group policy) to a vista machine from my vista x64 business machine everything works fine. When I offer Remote Assistance to an XP sp2 machine I get an error. Event log shows: Source RemoteAssistance Event ID: 3 and Source DistributedCOM Event ID: 10006 Exactly what is present in KB937385 So I tried to install the file and it tells me my system does not need this file. So I emailed them back and because I am running SP 1 on vista they say I do not need the fix as it is already in the hotfix. So if SP1 fixed the issue why am I still having it. Can anyone help with this issue? Here is the case number if any MS employee wants to look this up. SRX1067052410 |
