| | RE: Right Click search function You can easly replace your sp1 version of "explorer.exe" file from the windows directory with the original version used from a non - sp1 version of vista and the search functionality will be completely restored to its original state. No registry modification is needed. |

Can I?: 1 - Use system restore to roll back to before SP1 2 - Copy explorer.exe to a flash drive 3 - Re-install SP1? Or - can I have my buddy with Vista (sans SP1) email me the file? I really miss that right-click search option. Why on earth did they take it away? Neither of Ramesh's links work for me. -- Appletom ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Appletom's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=51237 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=969637 http://forums.techarena.in |
