| | Navision 3.7 on Vista I work in an office using Navision 3.7 which is heavily modified, so there is not much of an option to upgrade to Navision Dynamics anytime soon. We periodically order several PC's from Dell for the office and I am concerned about the end of XP...Navision 3.7 will not even install on Vista...so what are our options? |

Have your programmers start working on getting Navision updated and working with Vista. Find another program that does what you want and works with Vista. To get these later versions, you need to talk to your reseller and if you have been paying your Maintenance, you will be entitled to the new executables already and simply need to request a new license file. You will probably need to get your reseller to guide you through this process and you will want to do a test upgrade first just to make sure if anything goes wrong you have not just trashed your live database. If you want to know more about NAV (Navision) and Vista, you can try searching in one of the many NAV forums such as Welcome to mibuso.com or Dynamics User Group |
