Vista - RC1 email yet to be received

I would imagine that if your computer doesn't have a
DVD burner, then you are probably using an older computer.
Of course, you may have one and it broke.

Even if your computer is an older one- 3 to 5 years-
it may still be able to run Vista. What are your specs?

You could always go out and buy an external (USB) DVD
burner. They aren't expensive. Wal-Mart has them.

What sucks is that the "general" public, has had RC1 for days now, since if
you look around a bit, you can easily find an .iso for download, the
torrents are soaked with them....

I also am in the CPP and have not received an e-mail.....I also did not get
my last mailing until the Beta2 had been out at least a week...*sigh*, but I
understand the issue, no big deal. I am just glad to be an official part of
it I guess. At least I have my MS Beta2 cd keys....

You don't need a DVD burner. Use Daemon Tools
http://www.daemon-tools.cc
or a similar application to create a virtual DVD drive, mount the ISO image file to it and install from there.
