| | RE: How to install Outlook 2000 in Vista machine It works fine for me with the a few exceptions. What errors are you getting when you try to install? I would right click on the install file and select "run as admistrator" Also check this out. http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm -- Paul "ragmaniac" wrote: Quote: > I run 2 machines Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista Home Premium. | | Re: How to install Outlook 2000 in Vista machine Yes it will run sorta. The Password word is screwed. M$ made improvements ie. 'upgrade to new version so we made more $" Ignore blue screens and it will load at least Office XP did. Password: Key in Password and hit enter error message hit cancel key to remove screen Hit send/receive and it should work M$ improvements doesn't allow you to save Password. M$ response when I looked at th Problem Resolution, was "You are using a old version click here to look at upgrade information." As of now, Microsoft, is zero for zero in correcting problems M$ Vista/Xp or other programs. So I really don't bother anymore with it. To use Contacts and other functions do the following. Use Explorer to navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\System Copy wab32.dll and wab32res.dll to C:\Windows\System32 or http://miniburb.wordpress.com/outlook-2000-on-vista/ http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm |
