Vista - Help and Support Not Working

When I open Windows Help and Support it no longer goes to the home page and I
get a message in the Help and Support Window stating:

"This content under construction
We were unable to retrieve the requested topic."

The other profiles on my Vista Home Premium system have properly working
Help and Support. I think it is not longer pointing to the correct page but
am not sure how to fix the issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kinney,

You might try Option Two in this tutorial to see if it can fix your problem for you.

Thanks for the reply Brink.
I followed step two of the tutorial with no luck. I am still getting the
above stated message: "This content under construction - We were unable to
retrieve the requested topic."

It is very frustrating not to be able to access any help topics. Thanks
again though.

Kenny,

You might use the "Help and Support" from the website in IE7 at the link below until you find a solution.

Fazal, the files at the link you posted are only for Vista x64 and x68 and
will not install on my system which is Vista Home Premium x32. I guess the
file WinHlp32.exe is no longer available. Thanks for your help!

the x86 version is the 32-bit version. The number comes from the 16/32 bit
Intel processors that had those numbers at the end.

Thanks for the edification SS! I did download and install the x86 version
file and am still not able to get Help and Support to work. I am still
getting the message; "This content under construction
