| | Insert Microsoft Office XP Small Business disk I get the following window, usually when looking for a file The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-Rom or other removeable disk that is not available. Insert the 'Microsoft Office XP Small Business' disk and click OK. I have a Vista machine. My previous machine was Windows ME. PC Mover was used to move from ME to Vista, but Microsoft Office XP was not able to be moved. Does anyone know how to get rid of this message? It doesn't seen to cause any problems, but it is a nuisance. Thanks. Al |

| | Re: Insert Microsoft Office XP Small Business disk It sounds like some file you are attempting to open is associated with an Office application. When you click the file, it tries to open Word, Excel or such and the installer looks for the files to install the program. <aleisman@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:607cd7dd-be16-49d7-9ffb-b4d5891dc9c2@xxxxxx Quote: > I get the following window, usually when looking for a file > > The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-Rom or other removeable > disk that is not available. > > Insert the 'Microsoft Office XP Small Business' disk and click OK. > > I have a Vista machine.
