| | Noise reduction Since adding a few of the obnoxious children to my blocked senders list, this newsgroup has become a FAR nicer place to be. I thought it would be helpful for us all to pool our blocked senders lists, and make them available to people who join the newsgroup. That way we adults could get on with discussing Vista in a helpful and constructive way, and the stupid kids would be both unheard and unseen. What bliss! On the other hand, this approach would just signal everyone on the published list to change their "From" field, and thus annoy get around our efforts for a quiet life. Can anyone suggest a solution? The list would have to be updated occasionally. Someone would have to volunteer who is reasonable and dedicated. I have a feature request: that Windows Mail/News could import a block senders list. That way one could avoid having to manually update. Saucy |
