| Member | Need help with program files. i messed something up last night. i accidentally changed something to make my program files open in windows media player. when i double click on a program from my desktop, windows media player comes up and gives me the "windows cannot play this file" message. how do i fix this? |

Do a system restore, choosing the date before you "messed something up". |

Look up, click system restore, click Continue or password when prompted. You are now on system restore window. Click" Choose a different restore point", click Next. Now pick the date Before you "messed up", click Next, click Finish. System Restore is now in progress. Just wait. |
