| | Sharing Same Document Among Administrative Users In Windows XP all I had to do is put a short cut on the other Administrative's Desktop. That Administrator could edit and save the document. I could long in under me and view the changes. I could make changes on the same document and the other user could view the changes. In Vista I can' figure out how I can place the document on another Administrator's Desktop and without it being "read only". Please help!!! -- ?Guesswhat? |

You can, however, put the file in a location that has read/write access to various users, and create shortcuts to it on the different desktops. Key here is the permissions on the file and folder.
