| Home premium 32 bit, SP1 | Re: password Before I show you how-to, I just want to caustion you of your decision. One person who has no password to log on option, and now all of a sudden he is prompted to enter the password and he hasn't one. So, now he is locked out of the machine. There is , of course, a way to fix that. But it's going to be a pain in the butt. OK. Now here is how-to :- Control Panel, classic view > user accounts > click Remove your password > follow the instructions, then click Remove password. That's it. Reboot and see what happens. I would, if I may suggest, open an admin account with password, and put it aside. You don't have to use it at all. Just have it in the system----- just in case. |
