Disk defragmentor

After scanning disk, message pops up saying that performance can be
improved. Defragmentation is then run. After defragmentor quits, the
same message about improving performance is listed and the option to
run the defragmentor is offered. This loop of running the
defragmentor and not improving the performance continues endlessly.
Any fixes for this?
Thanks

RE: Disk defragmentor

It could be some form of malware or even a virus. I never heard of this kind
of problem. If you wan't, you can also try to defragment using some third
party defragmenter and see what happens.
