Autoplay not working on USB card reader on Vista.

Anyone know where I can contact Microsoft about an issue I have with Windows
Vista?

The problem is I have a USB 2.0 Card Reader and sometimes when not using it
for a while when I put in a flash card the AutoPlay does not work. So then I
remove the card and then put it back in again and then Autoplay works and
continues to work until I don't use it again for a while.

Is this a bug?

Re: Autoplay not working on USB card reader on Vista.

Maybe the reason why its not working is because you are not ejecting it
properly from the notification area or remove safely by right clicking the
drive and click Remove Safely from the contextual menu.

Re: Autoplay not working on USB card reader on Vista.

I don't understand. Why can't I just put the flash card in then when I am
done pull it out? Why would I need to click Remove Safely? I really do not
think that is why I am having this problem.

Re: Autoplay not working on USB card reader on Vista.

Well, if its not that, then its likely an incompatibility with the OS, so,
you probably have to contact the manufacturer for an update and file a bug
report using the Feedback link on the desktop in the mean time.

Re: Autoplay not working on USB card reader on Vista.

There would be no update for the card reader because there is no software for
it. Also where is the Feedback Link I do not see it?

Thanks

Re: Autoplay not working on USB card reader on Vista.

Guys if you could please test this out!

use at least 2 cards and keep putting them in one agter the other. You will
seeat random tiles the Auroplay does not work. This is a bug in Vista for
sure!
