Windows mail -Microsoft Communities

I have received the answer to this question before but when I did a clean
install of Vista RC1 I wiped it out so I nee help again.
How do I go about getting all messages in my communities past and present
and not just those that have come after I did the clean install?
Thanks Mike

You have to download the post dating back to the period you started. As for
signing into communities, click Tools > Accounts > Microsoft Communities
Help > Properties > Windows Live ID > select the Windows Live ID radio box
and type in your account information.

Re: Windows mail -Microsoft Communities

Ander & Frank neither of your suggestions let me get messages dated earlier
than 9/6/2006. Thanks for your time to reply.

Re: Windows mail -Microsoft Communities

Found Fix on old hard drive Fix follows.
Right click on the Newsgroup, click Properties, local file and then the Rest
Button.

After that, right click on the Newsgroup, click Synchronize Settings and
select all messages.

Now, click on the main Newsgroup account name (probably something like
newsgroups.comcast.net) and you get a set of different choices on the right
screen. Hit Synchronize Account and it should get every available newsgroup
thread.
