| Guest | advanced search I'm trying to do an advanced search, looking for files that were modified on a particular day. In the advanced search....I'm trying to do a search of "C" using date as the criteria. Can you tell me how to do that? When I try, the search button isn't reactive. Thanks |

Change Location to the C drive using the dropdown. Leave 'Date' alone. Change 'Any' to 'Is' and in the next drop down, choose your date. Check the box for "Include non-indexed, hidden and system files." Alternative method: Open explorer and navigate to the C: drive, in the search box key 'date:=mm/dd/yyyy' where mm/dd/yyyy is the day you want to search. The only difference in this method is that you won't find hidden and system files. Hope this helped. -solon fox |
