    Re: ISO Image

If the iso file is currently on DVD, unless you have 2 DVD burners in your
system, yes, you will have to copy the file to your hard disk. Even if you
do have 2 DVD burners, probably better to copy the file to your hard drive
    anyway.

Don't you still have the downloaded .iso image saved on your system?

    Hi Daryl,

Just copy the file from the DVD to hard drive, then use a burning program
to properly burn it as a disk image.

    Re: ISO Image

You burn the downloaded image directly to a dvd with burning software like
Nero or Roxio EMC. You can download a trial of the latest version which
    works on Vista.

    Re: ISO Image

If you copied the ISO to DVD, just copy it back to the HD or place the
DVD with the ISO into another DVD drive.

If you have Nero installed, and you double click on a ISO, Nero fires
off and waits for a blank (of the proper media) to be placed into the
    drive. Just click BURN.
All my 32 bit versions have burnt this way at the full 16x speed on my
    Plextor burner.

    Re: ISO Image

I downloaded the Vista 64 bit iso onto 3 different computers, each with dvd
burners. I have tried nero, imgburn, even dvdbur.exe on the 64 bit windows xp
installed computert and it burns only 10%. I next went to another computer
tried nero, magicburn and plato on it and it says it successfully burned the
iso but theres nothing on the disks, 3rd pc i tried nero and apollo and same
scenario as the second. Next, on all 3 i tried viewing the contents of the
iso with winrar (as winrar usually will extract an iso to hard drive if you
so desire) and all i see in that entire iso, is 1 readme file, all three
systems all 3 downloads, same thing. wtf?

Can't imagine what you are doing wrong. I downloaded both the 32 and 64 bit
iso files and used DVD Decrypter to burn the DVD's and both work just fine.
