could not update registry data?

could not update registry data?

Today I have burn a DVD for windows vista rc1 to install, but I can't install
it. When in updata installing, the system tell me "windows could not updata
registry data in the installing" and then cancelled install. What the problem?
My computer system info:
inter P4 516,
512MB ddr333 ram
ATI 300se 128MB pce-i
2*80G harddisk
I install it on the first harddisk, the volum F, because only that volum
have enough place to install vista
