Jet 3.5

I use a program developed under Visual C++ 6.0 working with database engine
Jet 3.5 (3.51.3328.0). When installed under Vista OS, I occasionally found
that new data entered in database are subsequently lost. Can anyone help me?
Thanks

JET 3.5 sounds outdated? On my system I had JET 4.0, and for connecting to
the 2007 versions of Access and Excel I had to install Microsoft ACE 12.0
(available free from MS)
