| | Defender's exclamation point icon The tray icon for defender has a yellow exclamation point. I tell it to check for updates and it seems to succeed but the exclamation point stays there. Is this normal? |

The update log seems OK. I just don't see why the ICON doesn't return to normal. How does it know that it needs to check for updates to begin with? |

Not sure why clicking update from the defender icon doesn't work but it's probably something to do with my IT guy handling windows update and my box being the first with Vista on it. It looks like automatic updates are not working and that was the cause. |
