| | Cumulative Update for Media Centre for Windows Vista (KB950126) My pc automatically downloaded this update and attempted to install it as the pc shut down. After trying for 2hours, having reached 6 out of 7, I switched it off and attempted to restart. It tried to complete and failed and eventually, after restarting in safe mode and several attempts I managed to restart the pc. Having experienced the continuous loop and failure to restart following installation of SP1, followed by restoring factory settings, (and loss of all files - yes I know I should've backed everything up) I'm reluctant to download this update. Any suggestions? And do I actually need it? All help much appreciated hw15 |
