Windows Explorer right-click crash

I am using a new (4 month) Fujitsu Amilo Laptop, with Home Premium
pre-installed (has more than recommended spec to run Vista Ultimate, so now
problems (I think) on that side).

Occasionally, when I right-click (mostly on files, but sometimes on
backgrounds as well), the computer takes longer than usual to respond, and
follows up with "Windows Explorer has stopped working...Windows Explorer is
now restarting" (or something, its in Spanish and my translation is not so
great). It will also on occasion, stop completely, requiring user-restarting
of Explorer. Is there anything that can fix this?

Mostly, it is OK, but as soon as it begins on any given day, thats it - no
chance of getting right-click to bring up the menu at all in Explorer until
much later (usually another day). I have tried restarts, shut-downs, and
using the menu key, but nothing helps.

Please help/advise/point me to a solution, as it severely slows down my day.

Re: Windows Explorer right-click crash

This fix will probably work for Vista as well as it does for XP.
Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers:
