| | Vista Home Premium Not Booting I'm hoping someone will be able to help me as I'm banging my head against the wall now!! Booting my mates PC I get the following error: !! 0xc0190036 !! 4336/91047 (nlscoremig.dll) All I can do at this point is restart. I have tried, booting to last know successful, using windows repair. Thanks for any help |

| | Re: Vista Home Premium Not Booting If you mean the system will not "Restore to Factory Defaults", it's likely that the hard drive is damaged beyond repair, and you should quit spending energy on it. See what warrantee is available for the system. | | Re: Vista Home Premium Not Booting I'm hoping I have got to the bottom of this. It looks like when SP1 was being installed the PC was either shut down or the battery ran out. I have been able to use the retore point feature which took me back just before SP1 was installed and it picked it back up, problem was I was running off the battery and it ran out again before it was completed! She is going to bring the AC adapter in tomorrow so I will have to try it again!! Watch this space! "Mark L.
