Vista - wave sounds

i have complete loss of sounds both system and on the internet, i can play
music and watch movies with full sound, but when on-line with sites like you
tube i cant hear any audio whatsoever, this is also the case with startup up
and shut down sounds. i may have switched them off without realising but am
now having a lot of difficulty getting them back on. my current operating
system is windows vista premium.

If they are muted, click start, and type SndVol and hit enter, to unmute.

i have followed your instructions but its saying that it isn't muted, and im
still not getting any sound, is there anything else i could try?
